To maintain a transparent and reliable classified listing environment, all users must comply with the following posting standards.
Addnlist reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any listing or account that violates these standards, our Community Standards, or our Terms of Service. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal.
1. Account Integrity
All users must maintain accurate and authentic account information.
You agree to:
- Use your real identity or legitimate business identity.
- Accurately represent yourself in your profile and communications.
- Maintain only one account per individual or business entity.
- Avoid creating accounts for impersonation or deceptive purposes.
- Avoid disposable or anonymous email services intended to bypass accountability.
- Refrain from using automated tools, emulators, bots, or third-party posting services.
- Post only items that you personally own or are authorized to sell.
Addnlist may investigate suspicious account activity and restrict access where necessary.
2. Photo Requirements
Listings must accurately represent the item being offered.
You must:
- Include at least one genuine photo of the actual item.
- Use clear, well-lit, high-quality images.
- Avoid text overlays, promotional graphics, or unrelated stickers.
- Refrain from adding phone numbers, email addresses, or physical addresses within images.
(Exceptions may apply to verified business accounts or approved event listings.) - Use only images you have the legal right to use.
- Avoid catalog, stock, or manufacturer-only images unless authorized.
Listings without valid photos may be removed.
3. Duplicate Listings
To preserve search clarity and fairness:
- Do not post the same item multiple times.
- Do not list identical items in multiple categories simultaneously.
- If you have multiple quantities of the same product, list them sequentially rather than duplicating active listings.
Addnlist may remove duplicate or repetitive listings.
4. Location Accuracy
Users must provide an accurate geographic location to allow local buyers to coordinate pickup arrangements independently.
Misleading location information may result in listing removal.
5. Titles, Descriptions, and Pricing
Listings must be clear, truthful, and not misleading.
You may not:
- Use irrelevant keywords to manipulate search visibility.
- Artificially inflate pricing beyond reasonable market value to distort results.
- Insert financing breakdowns into the price field (full item price must be listed).
- Promote high-risk payment methods (e.g., wire transfers, money transfer services).
- Include website URLs or external links.
- Publish personal contact details (phone number, email, address) within listings.
(Limited exceptions may apply to verified business accounts.)
Event-based listings (garage, estate, moving sales) may include event time and general location but may not include direct contact details.
6. Messaging & Platform Communication
Addnlist provides an internal messaging system to allow users to communicate without sharing private contact information.
Users may not:
- Refuse all platform messaging while requiring external contact.
- Use automated messaging tools.
- Use listings primarily as advertising space.
- Direct users off-platform for communication or data collection.
Failure to engage reasonably through Addnlist messaging may result in listing removal or account action.
Addnlist does not participate in negotiations or transactions between users.
7. Prohibited Items
Certain categories of goods are not permitted due to safety, legal, or policy reasons.
Users must review and comply with the Addnlist Prohibited Items Policy before posting. Listings violating these restrictions will be removed.
8. Prohibited Job Listings
Addnlist may allow employment-related listings. However, certain industries or job types are restricted to maintain safety and compliance.
Users posting employment opportunities must comply with applicable labor laws and platform job listing guidelines.
9. Fee Circumvention
Certain listing categories or promotional features may involve service fees (e.g., featured placement, visibility upgrades).
Any attempt to avoid or manipulate applicable fees — whether intentionally or through misuse of listing categories — is prohibited and may result in listing removal or account restriction.
10. Marketplace Integrity & Enforcement
Addnlist works to maintain a secure classified listing environment. Enforcement actions may include:
- Listing removal
- Feature restrictions
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account termination
Addnlist may cooperate with law enforcement when required by law.
While we strive to maintain a safe environment, Addnlist is a neutral listing platform and is not responsible for user transactions conducted independently.
11. Community Reporting
Users are encouraged to report suspicious, fraudulent, or inappropriate content.
Community reporting helps maintain the integrity of the platform.
